According to the coordinator Elisabetta Libardi, the school perfectly complies with all the planned anti-Covid measures, but then it will be the health authority that determines the causes of the infection.
Therefore, the 14-day quarantine has begun for his companions, six other children, who will also have to be subjected to swabs. The two educators who have been in contact with the child must also remain isolated while awaiting the test, which will verify the presence of the infection.
“When he entered kindergarten on Tuesday the child was fine and continued until Friday without problems, then over the weekend he was not feeling well, so the parents checked him in the hospital by swabbing him and he tested positive,” explained the coordinator at Corriere della Sera. The structure was also operational in the summer, but no cases of contagion had yet occurred. “We hoped it would be a good sign,” said Libardi, who nevertheless assured that “the school remains open, only the children’s section is closed: we are up to date with the devices and spacing provided and we are in constant contact with the health authority.” “.
