The reopening of schools seems to become increasingly a fundamental test for the future of the Minister of Education Lucia Azzolina: this is also the opinion of the leader Italia Viva Matteo Renzi.
Beware of Covid, but the school must reopen
Speaking on “24 Mattino”, on Radio 24, the former prime minister said that “after the first days after classes resume we will try to understand how it goes. We have to live with Covid but the schools have to reopen. “
Renzi added that if Minister Lucía Azzolina’s work worked, “we will verify it.”
Therefore, it would be premature to think about an autumn “reorganization” now: “I believe – underlined the secretary of Italia Viva – that talking now about ministers in full does not do a good service to the school, we have to focus on reopening”.
Now the priority is the boys
So, “now I am not going to discuss Azzolina, then we will check with the other forces of the majority if things have gone well and we will do it in the right places, in Parliament. Today we give priority to young people ”.
The Florentine politician later reiterated that the meeting in mid-September continues to be fundamental: “if we do not reopen the school and the university, where do we want to go?”
