(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 07 – There are 12 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, an increase compared to yesterday. Those infected continue to decrease: they are 1,108 (yesterday 1,297), according to data from the Ministry of Health. However, swabs are in a sharp decline: 52,553 were made, almost 25,000 less than the previous day. In total, there are now 278,784 cases, 35,553 victims. The current positive increase from 915 to 32,993, those discharged and recovered at 223 and now they are 210,238.
Another 9 coronavirus patients ended up in intensive care in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 142. Hospitalized with symptoms now number 1,719 (+36), people in home isolation instead of 31,132 (+870). The only region without new positives is Valle d’Aosta, such as the autonomous province of Bolzano, while the highest increase in cases is registered in Campania with 218. In second place Lazio with 159, then Emilia Romagna 132 and Lombardy with 109.
