This is how a 43-year-old woman from Settimo Torinese died today, Sunday, September 6, 2020, in Tirrenia (Pisa). The woman was with her partner on vacation in Tuscany, more precisely in Florence and this morning they had decided to go to Tirrenia on a trip.
The tragedy took place in a garden not far from Piazza Belvedere, in the Imperial Bath area, around lunchtime.
The death occurred after the 43-year-old man was struck on the head and neck by concrete material.
The rescue of 118 people was in vain: the medical team could not help ascertaining the death.
The Pisa carabinieri are handling the case, coordinated by the prosecutor Giovanni Porpora, who will almost certainly organize the autopsy of the woman’s body.
Given a first reconstruction, the failure would have occurred when the woman had adhered with both hands to this concrete structure. The death, even if under investigation, would have occurred in an area of the plant that is off limits to the public.
