Against Covid-19, the vaccine has been rushed to make the world’s population immune to the coronavirus. This is a battle that will not be won in the short term, also because it will take several months from human experimentation to production. But in this regard Olivier Bogillot, who is the president of Sanofi France, has ensured that a dose of the coronavirus vaccine will cost less than ten euros.
Coronavirus vaccine, Russia bets everything on Sputnik
In reality and in truth, there is a vaccine against the coronavirus and it is called Sputnik. It was developed by Russia which declares itself, after having tested it in phases 1 and 2, to be ready to export it outside national borders as of next November. Although there are some doubts about the possible side effects of Sputnik, the prestigious Lancet magazine has published data that would demonstrate a 100% immune response.
This means that all the volunteers who received the Sputnik coronavirus vaccine developed antibodies. And again, according to the English scientific journal Lancet, the coronavirus vaccine experimentation was carried out without serious side effects.
Covid-19 vaccine, are there any health risks with accelerated procedures?
Regulatory bodies around the world, in order to have the Covid-19 vaccine as soon as possible, have approved accelerated testing procedures. In practice, a vaccine race is underway from China to the United States and through Europe and Russia.
With the consequent risk that side effects, even serious ones, can only be detected after large-scale administration. It is no coincidence that the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the coronavirus vaccine will actually be available to everyone no earlier than the first half of 2021.
(We remind you to carefully read the warnings in this regard, which you can consult WHO”)
