Serological tests for teachers are being carried out throughout Italy, but in some regions there are some critical problems. Let’s see which ones.
In Veneto, 30% of teachers have not taken the test, the provinces with the most adhesions are Padua and Verona. In some laboratories the kit did not arrive complete.
In Lombardy, 56,953 teachers and school operators have taken the test; 2,723 were positive and swabs were taken. Of the 206,687 teachers in Lombardy, 98,470 did not take the test. It continues until September 18.
In Sicily, 50% of the teachers were tested and many had to go to the ASP, because not all GPs received kits. There have been many agreements between doctors and the result has been that in some areas 80% of teachers have been reached, with few positive results.
In Campania it is going well: many teachers who have been tested, few positive. More than 70% of the doctors have joined, the tests will also be carried out on the street thanks to a caravan in front of the Naples stadium.
In Lazio also everything is going well: the ASL takes care of everything; the template to be tested is about 120,000 units, it is expected to carry out 80% of the tests.
In Abruzzo, there was only one positive case among school personnel. There was some problem in the distribution of protection devices to health workers. Few teacher dropouts.
In Emilia Romagna, not all teachers were tested, very few were positive; not all doctors were available even during the vacation period. Problems also in the distribution of kits in mountainous areas.
In Puglia, not all doctors join the initiative and this creates some problems for ASL, according to some teachers, who cannot take the test quickly.
N.B. We remind you that the test is voluntary.
