2,091 in the province of Bari;
468 in the province of Bat;
710 in the province of Brindisi;
1,414 in the province of Foggia;
686 in the province of Lecce;
378 in the province of Taranto;
48 attributed to residents outside the region;
1 province of unknown residence.
Asl’s prevention departments have activated all procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.

Declaration of Dg Asl Bari, Antonio Sanguedolce; “In the last 24 hours, our Prevention Department has detected 32 new positives for Sars-Cov2. The most striking part refers to 21 positives identified by tracing close contacts related to cases that are already under surveillance; in the general calculation there is also 1 return from Sardinia and 1 case followed in the pre-hospital screening phase, while the other cases arose during the triage activity carried out in health facilities “.
Statement from Dg Asl BAT, Alessandro Delle Donne: “There are 5 cases registered today in the province of Bat, of which 4 close contacts of positive cases registered in the last days and 1 from Sardinia”.
Declaration of the Dg ASL Foggia, Vito Piazzolla: “There are 8 new cases registered in the last 24 hours in the province of Foggia. They are: 2 foreigners present in the provincial territory; 4 symptomatic persons; 1 return from Sardinia; 1 close contact of a case already known. All are under voluntary active health surveillance. “
Statement from Dg Asl Lecce, Rodolfo Rollo: “The 2 cases registered today by our Prevention Department refer to a resident in close contact with already known positive cases and to a person domiciled in the province who contracted the infection outside the Region.”
Statement from Dg Asl Taranto, Stefano Rossi: “The 8 cases of Covid in Taranto must be attributed to subjects whose relatives had already tested positive in recent days.
The patients, all asymptomatic, are constantly and carefully followed by the prevention department through technicians and doctors ”.
