GPS and alternates, the precarious Bologna and Modena call attendance meetings

communication Precarious coordination of the Bologna and Modena schools – The uncertainty and difficulties of this beginning of the course linked to the health emergency are added to the chaos of scores, after the recent publication of the new provincial rankings of substitutes (GPS). There are many precarious and precarious who have been assigned an incorrect score. These are mostly errors generated by the automatic scoring system of the telematics platform, mainly due to an incorrect assessment of specific / unspecific or support-related services.

A foreseeable chaos, if we take into account the very short time of the process, both for the applicants who had to apply, and for the offices that had to validate the applications. Added to this was the inexplicable choice to modify the evaluation tables in force so far, generating greater confusion about the criteria for assigning scores. Lastly, a platform that should have calculated the score automatically and is probably leaking all over the place, judging by the results.

With all of this in mind, we ask the Emilia Romagna regional school offices and provincial offices to provide a 5-day window for applicants to report errors and irregularities, at the end of which to republish the correct classifications. We also ask the USR to provide a series of technical clarifications on the evaluation of the non-specific and / or mixed service.

We are also concerned about the way in which the call for the appointment of alternates will be carried out. We are convinced that it is necessary to guarantee, in addition to social distancing, also the right of the precarious and precarious to choose the chair in a situation of transparency, following the phases of the assignment directly.

For this reason we ask that the calls, as is already happening for ATA staff in the province of Bologna, be present, dividing the candidates into small groups according to their position in the ranking. We jointly request that the use of computer platforms that replace direct contact, even if only vocal, be avoided and that involve the choice of seats through the declaration of preferences.

In the absence of these common sense measures, there is a risk of jeopardizing the regular assignment of substitutes, with consequences for the start and continuation of the school year.
