Coronavirus: after three months new victim in Calabria – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – COSENZA, SEP 05 – New death in Calabria, after more than three months, of a positive patient for Covid 19. The victim is a 72-year-old from Naples, probably on vacation on the Ionian coast of Cosenza, hospitalized in the department of infectious diseases of the Annunziata hospital in Cosenza since August 25.

Later his condition worsened and it was necessary to be transferred to the intensive care unit, where he died.

The last death of Covid 19 in Calabria dates back to May 29. On that occasion, the victim was an 82-year-old woman who died in the “Bianchi-Melacrino-Morelli” Metropolitan Hospital in Reggio Calabria. The total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 98. (ANSA).
