SITUATION. The anticyclone will finish its reappearance during the Weekend, starting to weaken as early as Sunday. In fact, from the North Atlantic a depression will send a frontal system towards the Alpine arch responsible for a deterioration of the weather that will affect the start of the new week. On Monday, the low-pressure zone will sink from the North Atlantic to the west-central Mediterranean and the associated front will cause widespread instability in part of the north and center, even with intense phenomena and decreasing temperatures. WEATHER MONDAY. Therefore, Monday’s day will start unstable with rains and storms in Triveneto, Lombardy, south-central Piedmont and Levante Ligure, with also intense phenomena and accompanied by storms and hailstorms, but during the day they will attenuate from the north starting from the Alps. At the same time, the low pressure sac will isolate itself between the Balearic Islands and Sardinia, dragging the front towards its center and spreading clouds and sometimes strong phenomena up to Tuscany. In the rest of Italy, some showers or storms may reach the interior of the Apennines and the main islands, but they will be much more isolated and of short duration, in a decidedly sunnier context. Temperatures will suffer a notable drop in the north, especially in the Alps and the upper Po Valley, a few degrees less even in the Center at maximum values, almost stationary in the South. Definitely cool weather in the Northwest, where the highs will struggle to reach 20 ° C.
