(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 4 – The death toll of the last 24 hours from Coronavirus is 11 deaths and 1,733 new infected.
The numbers are increasing compared to yesterday, when there were 1,397 positives and 10 deaths. For the new cases it is a record: there was no similar result since May 2. There is also a boom in tampons, more than 113 thousand (+ 21 thousand compared to yesterday). Those cured also increased to 537 (yesterday were 289) These are the figures from the Ministry of Health.
The number of intensive care for Covid remains stable, increasing by one (121) while the number of new hospitalized with symptoms increases (1,607, +102). Overall, current positives exceed 30,000 (30,099) with a 1,184 increase over yesterday.
No region has zero new cases: only Valle d’Aosta (2), Molise (4) and Basilicata (7) have fewer than ten. Lombardy is the region with the highest increase (337), followed by Veneto (273) and Lazio and Campania (both with 171 new cases each). (HANDLE).
