press release National Coordination of Sciences of Primary Education New Order As of September 1, 2020, the Provincial Directorates of Schools have begun to publish the new Provincial and Institute rankings of substitutes: an update that has been expected for three years, an undeniable right for the career of precarious teachers and a race against time to have them in the chair before the start of the lessons, with a digitized system that has made the procedure more agile, public and transparent.
After the first posts on USP websites, several participants complained of punctuation errors.
The reaction of the national news was immediate, but, even more so, that of the different unions, who asked the Ministry of Education to use the old rankings of the Institute for the call for teachers.
A request to say the least reckless, not only because it would undermine the right to work of all precarious teachers, but because it is and should be possible to correct the incorrect assignments of points in time for the calls and before the start of the school year.
The Ministry of Education has assured that the necessary controls will be carried out, but the situation of chaos described by the unions is far from the reality of the facts: the requests received were many, close to two million, and the errors of the system are understandable. but, from an attentive vision, human errors are deduced in the compilation of the applications, especially those of service and inserted and non-evaluable cultural qualifications.
Ministerial order n. 60 of 07.10.2020 and the qualification grading table are clear, if due to misinformation, distraction, anxiety, carelessness, lightness or third-party suggestions, the signing of an official application is wrong, the teacher who scrupulously reads the current legislation, proceeding alone after completing and submitting the application itself.
The responsibility for self-certification lies with the individual and it is not acceptable that those who have correctly completed the application for inclusion in the GPS and, above all, have declared their degree honestly, are sanctioned by those who, intentionally or naively, have signed false statements. .
It seems that some unions, instead of apologizing for the flagrant mistakes made in advising their clients, are not only not trying to solve the situation, but they want to blame the Ministry for their mistakes, asking not to use the new rankings and thus making a immense damage to the entire educational system.
You cannot throw mud on a procedure that has made clean water available.
