A taxi driver was arrested in Rome accused of sexual assault on two clients. The two episodes would have taken place in April 2017 and last January, against an American girl and an Italian. The Carabinieri of Rome’s Monte Mario Carabinieri Station executed a precautionary custody order under house arrest, issued by the Rome investigating judge at the request of the Public Ministry, against the 46-year-old Roman. According to what is reconstructed by the carabinieri, in the first episode the taxi driver, after having picked up a 20-year-old American and made her sit in the back seat of the car, would have abused her. In the second episode, the taxi driver allegedly abused a 34-year-old Roman after taking her home while she was completely unconscious due to excessive alcohol consumption. Then, the next day, he would contact the victim with the intention of seeing her again. The man is subjected to house arrest at his home at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
