The streets were flooded due to the brief but violent downpour that hit Cagliari and the interior this morning, but also violent gusts of wind especially on the southeast coast with damage to kiosks and bathing establishments on Solanas beach.
In Cagliari, as always happens, several floods especially in Pirri (via Italia it has become a river of water for a few minutes). Discomfort in other parts of the city as well. Traffic suffered the biggest consequences with slowdowns and temporarily uninhabitable roads.
Several calls to the fire department. Local police and teams of workers from the various municipalities are also in action to repair damaged roads.
Damage to kiosks and stores Sa Sindria and Vanity Beach, in Solanas, hit by violent gusts of wind. The first room was discovered and the second structure was also damaged.
