The school activities will resume tomorrow, September 1 for the new school year, or in any case on the date indicated by the Director. Usually the school year begins with the teaching staff, this year particularly rich in topics to discuss and discuss. In fact, the summer months of this year were accompanied by numerous uncertainties about the modalities with which we will return to class.

School activities from September 1

All the activities that will take place at the school from September 1 to the beginning of the lessons must necessarily be planned and, consequently, fall within the functional teaching activities (40 + 40 hours referred to in article 29 paragraph 3 letters a and b of the CCNL / 2007).

Therefore, until the scheduled date for the start of classes, there is no obligation to respect the teaching schedule itself (18 hours, 22 or 25 depending on the order of the center to which the teacher belongs).

Teachers, therefore, must be present in the school exclusively to carry out the planned activities, according to a previously approved quantification. All these hours must be counted in any case in those assigned to functional activities for teaching or in the quota provided for the operation of collegiate bodies.

So let’s summarize what they are due commitments by teachers from September 1 to the first day of class established by the regional calendar:
