Quick call to hire teachers: this is what Ministerial Decree no. 25 of June 8, 2020, for which the Ministry has prepared the platform for submitting the application. It is possible to apply before September 2 (the procedure started late), even if once again it is necessary to highlight the continuous failures of the system.
“The permanent position is there, the candidate is missing”
These are the words with which Sole24Ore sums up the current situation. At the end of the ordinary phase of entry into the GaE position, competition 2016 and competition 2018 (including additional bands), we move on to the extraordinary phase.
Speed dialing has been activated for vacant positions in each region. The teachers present in the useful rankings for the position (GaE, contest 2016, contest 2018) can apply to be hired in another province / region. The mechanism is explained in detail below
N.B. Teachers who are not included in the aforementioned rankings cannot participate in the process, for example teachers who have graduated with 24 ECTS who have requested the GPS before August 6, or teachers who, despite having three years of service, are not in possession of the specialization and inserted in the useful classifications for the position.
There are numerous vacancies
It was already clear that the 84,808 positions authorized by the MEF for the hiring of teachers as of September 1, 2020 could not be filled with the ordinary hiring phase. Especially in the northern regions where both GaE and the rankings of previous competitions are exhausted.
Support for
For those with the corresponding specialization, there are numerous opportunities. They range from 173 places in Puglia, to more than 4,600 for Lombardi, passing through almost 400 in Tuscany.
Letters
The A11 competition class The literary and Latin disciplines and the A13 competition class also take place in Sicily. In Lombardy there are still 108 places left for the A012.
Maths
A028 Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Sciences I: There are still 483 places available in Emilia Romagna to hire in the position as of September 1, 100 in Piedmont, 71 in Lombardy, 13 in Sardinia.
In which provinces
Our advice is to access the platform to check not only the number of availabilities for the desired competition class, but also in which province the places will be assigned.
Five-year bond
To stop the whole operation (to date we do not yet know the number of those who will join), it might not be so much the idea of the transfer in the style of the “good school novel” but the five-year restriction at the destination site .
- The blocking will affect not only the transfer request. During the 5 years it will not be possible to request not even the transfer or provisional use, nor make substitutes according to art. 36 of the CCNL
After 5 years of effective service in the school of property, the teacher may request transfer or assignment. You will receive the transfer when the requested place is vacant and available for transfers.
Some exceptions
The obligation of at least not five years will not exclusively affect the following categories of personnel
- surplus or surplus teaching staff. These are situations that have arisen, due to the contraction of the workforce, which cannot be defined a priori. In case of being declared supernumerary, the teacher may submit a mobility request (under which the conditions have not yet been clarified)
- personnel referred to in paragraphs 3 and 6 of article 33 of Act No. 104
In any case, these situations referred to law 104 must have occurred after the date of registration of the competitions or the update of the rankings until they are exhausted.
