In Trentino 140 mm of rain fell yesterday, in some areas up to 170. But since last night the bad weather has offered a respite. Is it trustworthy?

Although the alert remains change from orange to yellow. The meteorological forecasts induce the Civil Protection of Trentino to keep its guard up and citizens are warned that the rains that have fallen increase the risk of landslides and runoff. The bulletin also mentions strong gusts of wind, hail, and lightning.

As has already happened, for example, in Trento Malè, local problems cannot be ruled out both in the road network and in the distribution of electricity or other services.

Today will be a day of variable weather, but rains, thunderstorms and even hail are not excluded. Meteotrentino warns that today there will be “constant cloudiness with short stretches of sun and probably scattered showers, especially in the afternoon in the hills. Temperatures generally decrease, to values below the average for the period. Mainly weak winds, of variable direction ”.

Tuesday «clear episodes alternated with cloudiness with possible light showers on the reliefs. Stationary maximum and minimum temperatures. Variable weak winds in the valley, from the north quadrants to the mountains.

Last night the “Flood Hall” met – Last night it was the flooding of streams and rivers that worried: Special attention is paid in situations like this, characterized by heavy rains concentrated in certain areas, at the level of the streams and rivers that cross our territory and in balance with the hydrographic situation of neighboring territories.

The monitoring was followed in real time by the “Sala di Piena” of the provincial civil protection. In particular, by monitoring the level of the Adige River, which at 10:45 p.m. measured 4.77 meters in Trento.

In the next few hours, no problems are expected according to the Civil Protection of the Autonomous Province of Trento, which has also been in constant contact with the Province of Verona, as well as with Alto Adige and Lombardy.

Instead, at the end of the day the one relating to the Sarca River was closed: here the hydrometric levels had in fact fallen below the guard limit after the river reached 2.78 meters in Ponte del Gobbo and overflowed in the Pratosaiano area.

Yesterday was an emergency day for the entire region. Old concerns and damages come from South Tyrol. The Isarco is flooded in Chiusa, while in Egna some 400 citizens have been evacuated from the lower part of the city. The railway line was interrupted, the Adige was flooded. To avoid dangers, the Autobrennero between San Michele and Bolzano was closed from 3 in the afternoon yesterday. The Brennero railway between Bolzano and Vipiteno was also interrupted, while the Pusteria line was already interrupted as a precaution on Saturday.

There are many risky situations in Trentino. TO Grumo and San Michele all’Adige the wave of the Adige caused the collapse of the Trento-Malé bridge scaffolding. Not far away, in the Zambana countryside, the river overflowed its banks and flooded the rows of blocks.

At levels of alarm the sarca, which floods in some sections between Arco and the mouth. Right at the mouth of the lake, the networks installed by the Riva Fire Brigade worked on Saturday afternoon: they retained tons of debris and logs, recovered with a great job yesterday afternoon.

The Sarca has also given the springs problems. In Val NambroneWhere a landslide interrupted the road to the Cornisello lakes, eight people in the shelters were isolated and carried downstream by Firefighters.

Overwork is also Campiglio, where a stream of mud from Patascoss Creek has lapped up a hotel parking lot, causing no major damage.

Great job for the Alpine Rescue a Canazei, where action was taken to recover a score of tourists who had been isolated by the growth of the river. With the intervention of a bulldozer, it was possible to transfer them to the off-road vehicles to return to the valley.

Instead, it was the helicopter that reached Val Canali a Venetian tourist who had sprained her ankle. The water course did not allow to reach it by car, it was taken in a “window” of calm. It’s not serious.

Fear in Val di Non morning: in the Cles area, a landslide hit the Trento Malé railway while a convoy was passing by heading to Trento. Fortunately, no one was injured but the line is closed until at least tomorrow.
