(ANSA) – PARIS, AUGUST 30 – As of tomorrow, temporary medical centers for the practice of tampons by Parisians will be installed in the streets of the capital, in particular in front of the district councils: government spokesman Gabriel Attal, announced it to the RTL mics.
The initiative tends to lessen the pressure on laboratories, now besieged by people asking for the test even without symptoms and queuing for hours.
Starting tomorrow, anyone wishing to do the swab – including people not subject to the national health system – will be able to request it at these centers, the location of which will be available on the Paris City Council website. Everything will be free and without the need for a prescription.
On Thursday, Health Minister Olivier Véran announced that the government is reaching the capacity of one million tampons a week with the aim of controlling the increase in infections. (HANDLE).
