On the highway, heading south, the mandatory exit has been established in Bolzano Sud, returning to the highway at San Michele all’Adige via ss 42 and sp 14. In a north direction, the mandatory exit is at Egna- Now returning to the south of Bolzano, always on the SS 42 and the SP 14. In Egna, along the banks of the Adige, bulldozers and men work to place concrete blocks covered with sheets to contain the floods. The wave of floods caused the preventive evacuation of some neighborhoods. The high school gym is also available as emergency accommodation.

The Brennero railway line was also closed at 2:45 pm due to the Isarco exit from the embankments between Ponte Gardena and Bressanone. The replacement bus service between Bolzano and Fortezza has been activated.

In the Isarco Valley, heavy traffic on the highway and on the main road makes it difficult to install a replacement bus service. Even in Bassa Atesina the situation is very critical; Continuous checks are carried out to decide whether the closure of the railway line is also necessary here.

The weather alert remains in Trentino, even if the risk decreases and goes from orange to yellow. The meteorological forecasts induce the Civil Protection of Trentino to keep its guard up and citizens are warned that the rains that have fallen increase the risk of landslides and runoff. The bulletin also mentions strong gusts of wind, hail, and lightning. As has already happened, for example, in Trento Malè – the province underlines in a note – “we cannot exclude localized problems in the road network, as well as those of electricity distribution or other services”.
