The Prevention Department in consideration of the cases that have arisen in recent days in the province of Arezzo has intensified the activity of tracing close contacts. This activity has so far highlighted 16 contacts for the Arezzo cases who have already been immediately placed in solitary confinement.
At the moment, 342 people who tested positive for hyssop are being followed up at the Local Health Authority of Southeast Tuscany. 2,300 people are already in home isolation as a case of known contact or because they come from other countries. There are 3 hospitalized in infectious diseases at Hospital San Donato in Arezzo.
The identification of the cases and the tracing of the contacts was possible by performing about 1,700 swabs.
