PORDENONE AND UDINE – Due to the incessant rains, in the municipality of Vito d’Asio (Pn) the rainwater has thickened the streams and rivers in the area, dragging debris and terrestrial sediments downstream and causing temporary contamination of the aquifers and from the mouths entering the aqueduct line called “Destra Tagliamento”, temporarily compromising the potability of the mains water.
These are the affected municipalities: Vito d’Asio, Forgaria nel Friuli, Pinzano al Tagliamento, Castelnovo, Clauzetto, Travesio, Sequals, Arba, Vivaro and Fanna.
Hydrogea has already taken steps to quickly restore the plant’s proper functioning and has warned residents and users. It is estimated that the population affected by the event has about 15,000 users.
