Tree falls into tent, 3-year-old girl dies

It concerns a 3-year-old girl who died, a 14-year-old girl hospitalized in intensive care and a 19-year-old girl slightly injured by the tragic toll of a tornado that threw a tree into a tent this morning. Adnkronos learns it. The three victims were together at the ‘Verde Mare’ campsite in Marina di Massa, in Massa Carrara. Firefighters continue to work on the ground.

It is a 4-meter poplar that fell a few minutes before 8 this morning on the tent. The family overwhelmed by the tree is of Moroccan origin but residing in Italy. The tree, uprooted by the whirlwind, instantly killed the smallest child, for whom the long resuscitation maneuvers were useless. His 14-year-old sister was taken to hospital in serious condition, while the oldest, 19, was slightly injured and his father and mother were unharmed.
