A maxi forest fire caused the closure of the Great Bypass of Rome not far from the Aurelia exit, which causes traffic to stop in the inner lane.

The fire broke out near Via del Pescaccio and a cloud of smoke rose over the area. According to firefighters, the inner lane of the crossing was prohibited by the traffic police. The fire broke out at kilometer 65 of the Grande Raccordo Anulare. Firefighters on the scene with the help of a helicopter for reconnaissance from above and the local police. Some homes have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.

Later, traffic returned to normal. In the Gra, at the Casal Lumbroso junction, the outer road lane was also reopened, after the necessary closure to allow the extinction of a fire at the edge of the road. Previously, the fast lane was reopened.

Today and Sunday they have a red dot. In fact, it is the last weekend of August with already dense traffic for the return of vacationers to the main urban centers.
