The art critic, as mayor of the town of Viterbo, has issued an ordinance that prohibits the use of the mask not only outdoors but also indoors, except in cases of gathering.
In a note it is explained that the obligation imposed by the Dpcm of August 16 for the range of 6 to 6 in the morning, “protects from the risk of discos and not from coexistence, which obliges to sit at the table and eat without a mask “.
In all other cases, those seen wearing a mask will be fined in relation to Law 533/1977 on Public Order, which in article 2 establishes that the face cannot be masked: ‘The use of protective helmets, or any other means that may make it difficult to recognize the person, in a public place or open to the public, without justified reason. In any case, the aforementioned use for acts that take place in a public place or open to the public is prohibited, except for those of a sporting nature that such use implies … ”.
“On the other hand – observes Sgarbi – the use of the mask in public places, except for employees, appears in clear contrast with the time spent on nutrition that involves eating food without a mask. Therefore, it seems contradictory that after having eaten without a mask, one gets up from the table and puts it on. They are ridiculous forms of ostentation that have nothing to do with health needs ”.
