No sign of stopping the wave of bad weather in Lombardy, struggling with showers and thunderstorms. The phenomena are also intense and abundant. In particular, the most abundant precipitations are found in Oltrepo Pavese, Alto Lario and Valtellina cin accumulations even greater than 100 mm.
The intense activity of the storms was also accompanied by hailstorms. Specifically, heavy hail occurred in the Cremona area, in the area between Quattrocase, Fossacaprara and Roncadello.
In the Como area, a landslide affected the Statale Regina; the state highway between Vercana and Domaso was interrupted. In this area, rainfall accumulations of about 300 mm were recorded in 48 hours. Further heavy rains are expected in Lombardy in the next few hours.
