The group of people to whom the screening is directed has 923 citizens, that is, those who are autosegnalati on the regional site at the end of the holidays. “If there are citizens who have forgotten to fill in the online self-report form required for all those arriving from outside the region – continues the message sent by Emiliano – they are invited to act immediately, also because cross-controls will be activated by the ASL prevention departments also with the support of the police to make sure that all passengers on planes or boats resident in Puglia who return from Sardinia as of August 15 have effectively self-reported upon arrival in Puglia, in order to verify that they are complete “.

The measure comes at the end of a few days in which the news of new infections on the island has not stopped. The carpet tests ordered by the health authorities in Costa Smeralda have begun to give the first results: Phi beach 21 employees tested positive, while a Leeward staff member was hospitalized yesterday in serious condition and is now intubated.
