The latest monitoring by the Ministry of Health revealed the incidence rate of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants in Italian regions.







The latest bulletins on the coronavirus epidemic in Italy show a growing trend. The weekly monitoring that can be consulted on the website of the Ministry of Health, which refers to the week of August 17 to 23, indicates that the highest incidence rate per 100 thousand inhabitants is in Veneto (17.65), followed by that of Lazio (14,18). The lowest rate is Calabria (0.99).

The incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants is also quite high in Emilia romagna (11.60), Umbria (11.59) e Liguria (11.54).

The latest follow-up revealed the appearance of 490 new outbreaks throughout Italy and a drastic decrease in the average age of those infected.
