Piacenza – Fatal accident on the A1, a few hours from another accident that caused long lines on the road on August 28. This time, however, the balance is tragic: a motorcyclist died and 3 other people were injured.
According to what is known, at 3:40 p.m. a motorcycle with two people was traveling on the A1 towards Milan, in correspondence with the A15 Parma-La Spezia junction, near the municipality of Fiorenzuola, when it hit a pedestrian and then got stuck in A car. The two-wheeled motorcyclist was killed in the collision; less seriously injured the passenger – a woman – who was in the back seat, the pedestrian and another person inside the car involved in the accident.
The dynamics of the accident is currently being examined by the Polstrada di Guardamiglio: at the moment of impact, in fact, the traffic slowed down due to many spectators “drawn” by the remains of the first accident of the day (which occurred, however, in direction Bologna) and the cars were practically lined up, parked. At the scene are the emergency services of the 118 of Fiorenzuola, the public assistance of Cortemaggiore, the rescue helicopter of Brescia (which later returned) and the firefighters of Fiorenzuola for safety.
Meanwhile, queues of kilometers have formed, Autostrade advises to exit at Fidenza and, after having crossed Via Emilia, return to the motorway in Piacenza south.
