“Choose the worst minister in history.” Facebook page Lega – Salvini Premier launched this survey to its users, but limited it to four women: the Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese, the Minister of Education Lucia azzolina, the Agriculture Teresa Bellanova and the former Minister of Labor Elsa fornero. Although the women who have held the position of minister in history are clearly fewer than men.
In one day, the post was shared more than 400 times and garnered 5,000 comments, many of which openly contain sexist attacks on politics. Others, on the other hand, attacked the League directly: “The worst thing ever? are you“. My leader Matteo salvini rejects accusations of sexism: “Minister Azzolina could be a man with a mustache, but he could be an incompetent as well – said guest of ‘L’Aria che Tira’, in La7 – The problem is not man-woman, if Fornero did the unfortunate pension reform it is wrong. I reject accusations of sexism“.
Elsa Fornero, Interviewed by Republic, he commented in the post defining it “A brutal story of Salvini and his zoo as always.” Then he added: “I think it’s a little man that he doesn’t realize how small he is ”.
