We will spend the summer of 2020 touring Italy, which is a privilege and certainly not a punishment. In fact, traveling abroad is for the moment, but it will probably be prohibited throughout the summer. Therefore, we will dedicate ourselves to getting to know our territory better, offering help and encouragement to all tourist activities that are strongly affected by the crisis. # We start from Italy.
How will we be on the beach for summer 2020
With more than 7,000 kilometers of coastline, Italy has numerous beaches between large white sand beaches and small pebble bays. From north to south, the plant managers are preparing to organize security for this summer 2020. We have to check the distances between the umbrellas, build walkways to access the sea, prevent people from walking between the umbrellas, there are internal spaces to organize, signs, disinfection dispensers. And then the management aspects: namely, reservations and online payments. It may not be easy, but we will have to get used to it: the coronavirus will stay with us for a long time.
Then there is the date when we can go to the beach. At the moment, the beaches are closed and the trend across Italy is slated for June 1. But there may be differences at the regional and even municipal level. In some regions, in fact, the possibility of opening the beaches could be activated first and some already equipped municipalities could leave even earlier than others. As of May 25, therefore, the first floors could be opened.
The rules for going to the beach.
In the bag that we will prepare to go to the beach this year, in addition to the towel and sunscreen, we will also have to put the mask and if we have the disinfectant gel. But the precautions to take do not end there.
compulsory reservation of the umbrella or hammock
pay on line
distance between umbrellas
bar service is prohibited in the bar: table service or cot
closed play areas for children
the sports fields in the factory are closed
closed pools
even in water, keep the safety distance of at least 1 meter
Before getting into the car and heading to the beach, we will have to call the establishment where we intend to go and reserve our umbrellas. Applications organized by municipality where all the beaches will be grouped are being developed and you can book and pay directly.
The Istituto Superiore di Sanità recommends that all payments be made online. As for the reservation, there is also a reservation by time slot. We can also bring only the hammock, without an umbrella, to place it by the sea. In any case, we will have to reserve it before arriving at the factory.
The Istituto Superiore di Sanità suggests that the rows of umbrellas should be at least 5 meters apart, while between one umbrella and the other there should be four and a half meters. Beds, loungers and all surfaces must be disinfected with each use.
Playgrounds for children, sports fields and swimming pools at the factory should be closed, as crowds should be avoided.
As for the free beaches, there will be a control service at the entrance to avoid overcrowding and enforce the safety distance.
