Fire in the Giovanni Gallery. Wednesday, May 13, at around 5.30 a.m., a fire broke out on the ATAC bus (line 46) due to investigations. The episode took place one kilometer after the exit of via Mario Fani, towards Pineta Sacchetti and Trionfale. There were no passengers on board: The driver reportedly attempted to put out the flames while alerting firefighters, who intervened.
The tunnel, which was closed due to thick black smoke, remained closed in both directions. Around 9.40 in the morning it reopened towards Foro Italico.
