Coronavirus, another 172 dead in Italy. Sick people keep falling

In the last 24 hours in Italy, another 172 people have died from coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths since the emergency to 30,911. The data provided by the Civil Protection, however, confirm the decrease in patients in intensive care and hospitalized patients with symptoms. The total number of people who contracted the virus is 221,216, an increase of 1,402 new cases compared to yesterday. The Lombardy Region has reported that of the new cases counted today, 419 refer to the previous weeks and not to the last 24 hours. The total number of current positive results is 81,266, with a decrease of 1,222 compared to yesterday. Of the 952 currently positive, they are in intensive care (-47). 12,865 hospitalized people with symptoms (-674), while 67,449 people (equivalent to 83% of currently positive people) are isolated without symptoms or with mild symptoms. The total number of graduates and recoveries increases to 109,039, an increase of 2,452 people compared to yesterday. In total, 2,673,655 were performed, 1,741,903 cases were tested.
