Working group at work to rethink post-Coronavirus school, or rather in an alert state and containment of infections. The first rumors about what the contents of the next guidelines are are beginning to leak.
More music, art and sports.
This is one of the possible scenarios contained in the next guidelines developed by the working group. Fewer students per class means the need for more teachers or substitutes. The intentions would be to support traditional curricula with activities related to music, art, sports, digital creativity, and workshops. Activities that can be carried out with the intervention of the third sector, for example, in premises made available by administrations.
In particular, the problem will refer to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools for which a way is sought to avoid distance learning and carry out all assistance activities.
Unlike the case of secondary students, for whom a part of distance learning will be provided. The presence activity will be less than in the past and will be integrated with distance learning.
Less notionism
Among the indications that are being discussed these days among the members of the working group and that could materialize, at this moment is a matter under consideration: the suggestion to review the way of teaching.
In one year, hopefully, Covid’s transitional alert and attempt to contain any new outbreak of contagion, the request that the 18 experts could make is not to link teaching with notionism, but to target general student training.
