Kill the 4-year-old daughter and throw herself into the well: saved. “Depressed by layoffs”

Arezzo, April 21, 2020 – A four-year-old girl murdered in Valdarno: it is the horrible news that leaks from Levane, and around which the complete mobilization of the police takes place.

The episode occurred this morning around the village. It even seemed that the girl had been thrown into a well. But it was actually the father, a 39-year-old Bengali worker, who killed her and then attempted suicide by throwing himself into the well.

It all happened at home: the house where there was also the other son, who is ten years old and would have scratches on his face, but it is not known if it is the result of an attack on him. At that time his wife would have been shopping.

The woman is in a state of confusion and is currently unable to reconstruct what happened or the reason that pushed her husband to kill.

The man was still alive inside the well and attempts to retrieve it were successful. remove it. He was taken to the Valdarnese hospital in Gruccia, where he is stoned: he is not in critical condition. And the girl’s brother is also in the hospital.

The alarm was raised by one of the neighbors, a three-story building on via Togliatti. The neighbor heard the screams and even saw him go by with the bloody knife.

According to a first reconstruction, the 39-year-old man would have been on layoff for a few weeks, due to Covid’s economic effects, and therefore seriously depressed due to lack of resources to move forward.

Around the well, the stone roof of which is abandoned next door, police and firefighters have been busy trying to rescue for a long time. Ambulances and 118 Pegasus are also on site.
