Among the cars ofhuge collection of the sultan of Brunei, which has 5,000 copies, there are many, many and rare supercars and exceptional. Some of these totally unknown to the world and others unique chimeras, like one Ferrari F40 long tail. One of its 10 Ferrari F40s, which dropped into a unique special build, at the time, with one purpose: to beat the McLaren F1 at speed, which posted a peak of 391 km / h.
This Long Tail F40 is rumored to have been capable of exceeding 400 km / h but information in this regard is limited, if not non-existent. The only findings are these three photos taken in 1994 inside one of the aeronautical hangars where the sultan keeps his cars.
All beautiful and fantastic were it not for the fact that this unique design is the result of the imagination of a three-dimensional graphic designer who, using graphic reconstruction software, managed to get half of his world to talk about “his” project. The reality of the car is, therefore, a reconstruction of a car that does not exist, very well done, from an original photo. Bravo!
