TORINO – Record number of deaths from Coronavirus: in 24 hours 993 people died in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health. With the current figure of 993 deaths, Italy exceeds 58 thousand victims of Covid-19: in fact, there are a total of 58,138 deaths. There are 3,597 patients in intensive care for Covid in Italy, 19 less than yesterday. Actually, as always, it is a balance between admissions and discharges, and for the first time the table indicates the number of admissions to resuscitation in 24 hours, in this case 217. Those hospitalized in ordinary wards are 31,772, by 682 units compared to the previous day. There are 23,225 coronavirus swabs that have tested positive in the last 24 hours in Italy. With 226,729 swabs performed in 24 hours and 23,225 new cases, the proportion of positive Covid-19 swabs in Italy stands at 10.24%. Intensive care admissions for Covid-19 in Italy are declining, with 19 fewer hospitalizations in 24 hours for a total of 3,597 compared to 3,616 yesterday. Hospitalizations with symptoms are also decreasing with -682 patients compared to the previous day, for a total of 31,772 today compared to 32,454 yesterday. Net decrease in the number of people recovered from Covid-19 registered in Italy in the last 24 hours with 15,266 cases less than the previous day. In fact, 23,474 cured-discharged today compared to 38,740 yesterday: the total since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 846,809.
