There is an increase of more than a hundred infections compared to yesterday’s figures in Puglia in comparison, however, with around 4 thousand more swabs than yesterday: the virus advances in the regional territory but today’s data is more reassuring in comparison with those that emerged in the previous bulletin, where the statistics showed the positivity of one in five people subjected to the test.
From the information of the last 24 hours, collected by the Department of Health Promotion, therefore, 10,265 tests are processed for the Covid-19 coronavirus infection with 1,368 new positive cases divided at the provincial level: 612 in the province of Bari , 145 in the province of Brindisi, 158 in the province of BAT, 228 in the province of Foggia, 97 in the province of Lecce, 117 in the province of Taranto, 8 residents outside the region, 3 province of unknown residence.
It follows, therefore, that if yesterday the percentage of infected people highlighted by the swabs performed was 20%, today it drops to 13%.
Sadly, 28 deaths were recorded: 7 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of BAT, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 14 in the province of Foggia, 5 in the province of Lecce.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 676,224 swabs have been made in Puglia. The cured patients amount to 9,385 with more than 300 units compared to the previous figure, but the currently positive patients are almost three times, or 27,614.
The total number of Covid cases in Puglia is 38,084, divided as follows: 14,948 in the province of Bari; 4,221 in the province of Bat; 2,636 in the province of Brindisi; 8,877 in the province of Foggia; 2,863 in the province of Lecce; 4,260 in the province of Taranto; 276 attributed to residents outside the region; 3 province of unknown residence.
The Asl Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
