9,221 infections and 175 deaths, hospitalizations increase

New patients admitted and in intensive care

The number of hospitalized and intensive care patients continues to grow. In fact, with the increase in infections, the pressure on the hospitals in the regional network also increases. In the last 24 hours, the number of hospital admissions has increased by 13 units, bringing the total to 8,304 (yesterday they were 8,291), while 15 new patients treated in intensive care, thus reaching the figure of 930 units. Fortunately, the number of cured / discharged patients is also growing considerably, now reaching 4,985: 177,832 people have managed to overcome the disease in the last 24 hours.

Data from the Lombard provinces

As for the Lombard provinces, specifically, 3,706 new coronavirus infections are registered in the province of Milan. There are 986 new positives in the province of Monza and Brianza, 922 in the province of Varese, 623 in the province of Brescia, 948 in the province of Como and 385 in Pavia. The province of Bergamo registered 249 new infections, while there are 255 in Lecco, 156 in the province of Lodi, 124 in that of Cremona, 390 in the province of Sondrio and finally 275 in Mantua.

Lombardy remains the red zone until December 3

The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, has signed an order confirming the red zone in Lombardy until next December 3. The same measures have also been extended for Calabria, Puglia, Sicily and Valle d’Aosta. thus renewing the measures relating to Calabria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Puglia, Sicily, Aosta Valley. Despite this decision, as of November 27, the classification of these regions may undergo changes if it is supported by significant changes in the 21 parameters identified by the Higher Institute of Health.
