There are 623 new infections and 9 deaths of positive coronavirus patients today in Abruzzo. The swabs analyzed were 4,685.
New positives are between 2 months and 100 years old; 97 are under 19 years of age, of which 23 in the province of Chieti, 21 in the province of L’Aquila, 25 in the Pescara area and 18 in the province of Teramo.
The deceased were between 70 and 92 years old: one was from the province of Chieti, 4 from L’Aquila, 2 from Pescara and the same number from Teramo.
Thus, the number of positive cases since the beginning of the emergency amounts to 25,445, while the number of deaths rises to 831.
The number of positive cases also includes 7,582 discharged / cured (+238 compared to yesterday).
The positives currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total positives) are 17,032 (+376 compared to yesterday).
Of these, 676 patients (+4 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 72 (+1 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 16,284 (+371 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
Of the total positive cases, 8,234 are residents or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+111 compared to yesterday), 4,901 in the province of Chieti (+124), 5,108 in the province of Pescara (+197), 6,779 in the province of Teramo (+151), 224 outside the region (-2) and 199 (+42) for which provenance controls are being carried out.
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 389,756 tests have been carried out (+4,685 compared to yesterday).
