There are 29 men and 24 women with an average age of 81.8 years, 16 in Florence, 1 in Prato, 4 in Pistoia, 2 in Massa Carrara, 6 in Lucca, 6 in Pisa, 2 in Livorno, 5 in Arezzo, 8 in Siena, 3 in Grosseto. The positives are currently 47,900 today, the hospitalized are 1,874 (50 more than yesterday), of which 246 in intensive care (4 more).
• Umbria: 515 new cases out of 4755 tests. There are 12 dead. The pressure on hospitals is stable: admitted patients fell from 429 to 427, while the number of intensive care places occupied increased from 66 to 68.
• Abruzzo: 662 new cases of 4223 tests were registered, 392 referred to the tracking of already known outbreaks. The death toll of patients registers 16 new cases between the ages of 60 and 100, 7 in the province of Chieti, 6 in the province of L’Aquila, 3 in the province of Teramo). The positives are currently 10,950, 546 are hospitalized in non-intensive care (+16 compared to yesterday), 51 (+5 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 10,353 (+501 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with Active surveillance by ASL.
• Basilicata: 189 people infected with coronavirus registered in the last 24 hours are compared to 1,456 swabs processed. Four people in total recovered and three died. The number of hospitalized patients is stable, equal to 152, of which nineteen in the intensive care units of Potenza and Matera.
• Puglia: out of 7,913 tests, 1,332 positive cases were registered: 677 in the province of Bari, 84 in the province of Brindisi, 106 in the province of Bat, 189 in the province of Foggia, 110 in the province of Lecce, 153 in the province from Taranto, 12 residents outside the region, 1 case from province of unknown residence. 27 deaths were recorded: 11 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Bat, 8 in the province of Foggia, 5 in the province of Lecce, 1 in the province of Taranto.

Although still yellow areas, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, in light of the latest data, would be in a type 4 scenario and from the Istituto Superiore di Sanità the indication arrived to anticipate the restrictive measures.

• Friuli Venezia Giulia: 572 new infections (6,171 swabs performed) and 13 deaths from Covid-19 were detected. 46 patients are being treated in intensive care and 346 are hospitalized in other wards.
• Veneto: the death toll is high: 46 more dead than yesterday. The new positives also rose again, 3,082 in the last 24 hours, for a global figure of 87,337. A jump in line with the record daily increases, more than 3,000, registered in recent days. There are 1,667 inpatients plus 208 in intensive care. “A peak that corresponds to that of March 30,” explains Governor Zaia.
• Emilia romagna: 2,428 new cases discovered thanks to 20,670 swabs. There are 31 victims: among them also a 42-year-old man in Parma. Of the newly infected, 1,292 are asymptomatic, identified in the context of regional contact tracing and detection activities. Currently in Emilia-Romagna there are 43,891 active cases, 95% of which are in isolation at home because they do not require special care. However, hospitalized patients continue to grow: those in intensive care are 222, seven more than yesterday, while patients in the rest of the Covid wards reach 2,072 (+52). Almost all the dead are older than 75 years, although in Parma there are deaths of men of 42 and 51 years. There were eight in Modena, six in Parma and Ravenna, five in Reggio Emilia, three in Bologna, two in Piacentino and one in the province of Forlì-Cesena The situation of infections in the provinces of Emilia-Romagna sees Modena with 599 new cases and Bologna with 527; followed by Reggio Emilia (275) and Ravenna (168).
