ANCONA – COVID-19, numbers to scare after yesterday’s most heartwarming. In fact, the Health Service of the Marche Region has reported that in the last 24 hours 3387 swabs have been tested: 2392 in the new diagnostic route and 995 in the cured route.

The positives are 521 in the new diagnostic route, another record that worries and not a little: 133 in the province of Macerata, 121 in the province of Ancona, 32 in the province of Pesaro Urbino, 93 in the province of Fermo, 138 in Ascoli Piceno province and 4 outside the region. These cases include symptomatic subjects (84 cases detected), household contacts (118 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (131 cases detected), 9 cases registered in the work environment, 1 return from Albania, contacts in the environment of life / fun (14 cases detected), 5 cases detected in the healthcare field, contacts in the school / training environment (22 cases) and 5 cases found in the screening carried out in the health sector. Epidemiological investigations are being carried out in 132 cases.
As if to say another record that instills fear and concern: 453 positive cases of the 2,224 swabs analyzed were recorded on Friday alone, today an even more worrying number.
