Coronavirus in Italy, the bulletin for Sunday, December 13: today’s data from the Ministry of Health. The new positives registered in the last 24 hours are 17,938 with 152,697 swabs (yesterday there were 19,903 with 196,439 swabs). 484 dead (yesterday it was 649). With 16,270 more discharged / healed In the last 24 hours, the current positives have risen to 686,031 (1,183 more than yesterday, when there was a drop of 5,475 units). The total death toll rises to 64,520. The total number of cases is 1,843,712 since the beginning of the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic. The percentage of positive swabs is 11.75%.

Of the 484 dead today 144 come from Lombardy43 from Emilia Romagna, 36 from Piedmont, 35 from Campania, 34 from Tuscany, 32 from Veneto, 27 from Lazio and 23 from Puglia. The most affected region at present is Veneto with 4,092 cases, followed by Lombardy (2,335), Emilia Romagna (1,940), Lazio (1,339), Campania (1,219), Puglia (1,175) and Piedmont (1,011).
WEEK Last Sunday, December 6, the new positives were 18,877 (with 163,550 swabs and 564 deaths). This week (from Monday to Sunday) the most cases are therefore 114,885, almost 29 thousand less than last week when the new positives were 143,699. The deaths are 4,442, 732 less than last week when they were 5,081.
However, the number of tampons has also fallen dramatically, 1,090,062 this week, up from 1,317,771 last week. It should be noted, however, that the weekly data on infections and tampons are ‘drugged’ by the Immaculate Conception which caused a physiological and substantial drop in tests between Monday and last Tuesday.

There are 3,158 patients in intensive care (-41 compared to yesterday) of which 714 in Lombardy (-3), 340 in Veneto (-5), 341 in Lazio (+4), 291 in Piedmont (-13), 219 in Tuscany (-9) and 220 in Emilia Romagna (-3 ).
As to admission to the ICU today (152 in Italy), the worst data are for Puglia (26) followed by Lombardy (24), Lazio (16), Emilia Romagna (14), Veneto (13), Sicily (12) and Tuscany (10).
