He dies in the arms of his wife while I am in quarantine. He was asymptomatic. The drama of Sunday afternoon in Brugine, where Mirco Comunian, an employee of the Magazzini Generali, left in a few minutes before the eyes of his family, his wife Michela Romanato, a popular hairdresser in a city store, and their daughter Fifteen years old.
They had all been home for several days, because they tested positive for Coronavirus, although without particular symptoms. In fact, they were hoping to repeat the swabs shortly to see if they had turned negative. A quiet Sunday at the villa in via Palù Superiore, built next to the house where Mirco was born on April 30, 1972, which over time he had adorned with an awning and since this year also with a swimming pool. Comunian was indeed a man dedicated to work and family. Immediately after lunch he felt a pain in his stomach and his wife, thinking of a digestive problem, made him a lemonade, then lay down on the bed. After a few minutes the wife heard her husband’s call, almost a gasp and understood the seriousness of the situation. He immediately alerted 118 and his brother who lives not far away. The latter rushed home to help, awaiting the arrival of the doctors, who unfortunately could only find out about Mirco’s death. After the ritual controls, the transfer of the body to the Schiavonia morgue was authorized, while outside the house the four Comunian brothers did not give each other peace because of what happened.
“I saw Mirco being born and he was a kind of pet for us, the youngest of the troop.” This is how Mario Comunian, one of the cousins, a historic municipal administrator, who lives near the house of the 48-year-old unfortunate remembers it. “Twenty days after his birth his father had passed away, that’s why all of us, the elders, especially loved Mirco”, continues Mario Comunian. “I can really say that he was the image of health, always smiling, also thanks to his beautiful family, he spent his free time at home, his hands were golden, but he also loved to take some trips with his wife Michela and daughter.” . The saddest thing – adds Mario Comunian – is that due to Covid nobody has been able to enter the house to comfort their loved ones and at this time it would be really necessary ”. The death of Mirco Comunian was a true bolt from the blue in the town: yesterday nothing else was said, the news spread quickly and many could hardly believe it precisely because the man had never given the image of a person with health problems . Among the first to be informed was Mayor Michele Giraldo: “I heard the news on Sunday night. In this moment of deep pain, our community silently joins in an embrace his wife Michela, his daughter Giada and the whole family who unexpectedly lost a great person like Mirco ”, says the mayor excitedly. At the moment the funeral of Mirco Comunian, which will be held in the church of Brugine, has not yet been set.
