Coronavirus, today’s bulletin, Friday, November 13, 2020, in Italy. There are 40,902 new infections and 550 deaths (up from 636 yesterday). Even today it’s a record tampons in the last 24 hours: 254,908 were carried out on the last day, some twenty thousand more than yesterday. The ratio between positives and tests remains constant at 16%. There are more than 30,000 hospitalized with Covid symptoms in ordinary wards in Italy: with an increase of 1,041 units in the last 24 hours, now there are 30,914. Currently 663,926 are sick, of which 30,914 are hospitalized (1,041) in wards, 3,230 in intensive care (+60, the lowest daily increase in resuscitation patients in a few weeks) and 629,782 isolated at home. Today the healed / discharged are 11,480.

So the regions, Piedmont alarm. There are 10,634 new cases in Lombardy in the last 24 hours. Followed by Piedmont (5,258) and Campania, where with the increase of 4,079 patients the increase curve slows down (yesterday it was 4,065). Further down are Veneto (3,605), Lazio (2,925), Toscana (2,478) and Emilia Romagna (2,384). Of the total 550 victims in the last 24 hours, 118 were registered in Lombardy alone.

Contagion in the regions
Even today, the Region with the highest increase is Lombardy (+10,634), followed by Piedmont +5,258, Campania +4,079 and Veneto +3,605. Hence the trend of contagion in the main Italian regions.
Piedmont, 5,258 cases and 61 deaths
61 deaths of Covid-19 test positive people reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit, of which 5 occurred today. The total now stands at 4,964 deceased who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 775 Alessandria, 306 Asti, 253 Biella, 511 Cuneo, 475 Novara, 2187 Turin, 258 Vercelli, 149 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition than 50 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont. The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont are 117,312 (+5,258 compared to yesterday, of which 2,113, 40%, asymptomatic). The data, specified for the Region, contains a realignment of the cases of the previous days. The new cases are divided as follows: 2046 screening, 1303 case contacts, 1909 with ongoing investigation, 675 in RSA and Social Welfare Structures, 376 school, 4207 general population.
The provincial subdivision highlights 10,126 Alessandria, 5345 Asti, 4009 Biella, 15,023 Cuneo, 8736 Novara, 64,394 Turin, 4325 Vercelli, 3423 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 742 residents outside the region but in charge of Piedmont health facilities. The remaining 1,189 are in development and territorial allocation 353 patients admitted to intensive care (+5 compared to yesterday). Non-intensive care patients are 4,890 (+57 compared to yesterday). There are 61,411 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,239,594 (+22,778 compared to yesterday), of which 668,246 were negative.
Campania, 4,079 cases and 40 deaths
4,079 new cases of coronavirus have emerged in the last 24 hours in Campania from the analysis of 25,510 swabs. Of the 4,079 new positives (15.9% of the total swabs), 509 are symptomatic and 3,570 are asymptomatic. The total number of positives in Campania since the beginning of the emergency exceeds 100,000 cases, reaching 104,065. A total of 1,221,582 swabs were examined. In today’s bulletin of the Crisis Unit of the Campania Region there are 40 new deaths, which occurred between 7 and 12 November. The total number of deaths in Campania since the start of the emergency amounts to 967. There are 878 new patients: the total number of patients in Campania is 19,878.
Lazio, 2,925 cases of which 1,495 in Rome, 34 deaths
Out of more than 28,000 swabs (less than 810 compared to yesterday), in Lazio today there are 2,925 new positive cases of Covid-19 (more than 239 compared to yesterday), of which 1,495 in Rome. In addition, there are 34 dead (15 less than yesterday) and 411 more recovered.

Tuscany, 2,748 cases and 55 deaths
In Tuscany there are 74,330 cases of positivity for coronavirus, 2,478 more than yesterday (1,887 identified in the course of the screening and 591 of the detection activities). New cases are 3.4% more than the total of the previous day. Those cured grew 5.7% and reached 22,408 (30.1% of all cases). The swabs performed reached 1,294,003, 18,423 more than yesterday. 8,687 subjects were analyzed (excluding control swabs), of which 28.5% were positive. To these are added the 2,318 rapid antigenic swabs that are carried out today. Current positives are 50,129 today, + 2.5% compared to yesterday. There are 1,921 hospitalized (12 more than yesterday), of which 265 in intensive care (9 more). Today there are 55 new deaths (the highest number since the start of the pandemic): 28 men and 27 women, with an average age of 85 years.

Emilia Romagna, 2,384 cases and 40 deaths
Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 83,068 cases of positivity have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 2,384 more than yesterday, out of a total of 20,512 swabs made in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of manufactured tampons is now 11.6%, slightly lower than yesterday. There are 40 new deaths: 17 in the province of Bologna (8 women of 91, 74, 90, 81, 86, 91, 83, 93 and 8 men 79, 89, 89, 75, 90, 79, 93, 89), of which a woman in Imola (87 years old), 6 in Modena (2 women of 84 and 89 years old and 4 men of 68, 81, 87, 83) 6 in Reggio Emilia (2 women of 92 and 85 years old and 4 men 71, 62, 97, 92), 2 in Ferrara (a man of 86 and a woman of 68), one in Ravenna (a woman of 90), 2 in Parma (2 men of 87 and 77), one in Cesena (an 89-year-old woman), 2nd Piacenza (a 61-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman), none in Rimini and 3 cases outside the region. Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, there have been a total of 4,965 deaths in Emilia-Romagna. The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 1,155 asymptomatic people identified as part of the regional contact tracing and detection activities. Overall, 360 of the new positives were already isolated at the time of smear and 469 were identified in known outbreaks. The average age of new positives today is 45.5 years. Of 1,229 asymptomatic patients, 351 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 67 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 29 with serological examinations, 21 through pre-hospital tests. An epidemiological investigation for 687 cases is still ongoing.

Sicily, 1,707 cases and 35 deaths
New record for positives in Sicily. In just 24 hours, in fact, 1,707 cases have been registered on the Island of the 10,217 processed tampons, 35 victims and 300 recovered. The data comes from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. Of the 26,286 currently positive hospitalized patients with symptoms are 1,450, while 210 patients are in intensive care. This is the provincial breakdown of the new cases: 444 in Palermo, 589 in Catania, 176 in Ragusa, 116 in Messina, 77 in Trapani, 89 in Syracuse, 95 in Agrigento, 87 in Caltanissetta and 34 in Enna.

In Puglia, 8,461 tests were recorded for the Covid-19 coronavirus infection and 1,350 positive cases were recorded: 472 in the province of Bari, 67 in the province of Brindisi, 176 in the BAT province, 269 in the province of Foggia, 113 in the province of Lecce, 239 in the province of Taranto, 11 residents outside the region, 3 cases from the province of unknown residence. 22 deaths were recorded: 10 in the province of Bari, 12 in the province of Foggia. 639,491 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency. 8324 patients were recovered. There are currently 22,511 positive cases. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 31,792, divided as follows: 12,789 in the province of Bari; 3,433 in the province of Bat; 2,189 in the province of Brindisi; 7,396 in the province of Foggia; 2,356 in the province of Lecce; 3,385 in the province of Taranto; 240 attributed to residents outside the region; 4 province of unknown residence.

Friuli Venezia Giulia, 831 cases and 8 deaths
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 831 new infections were detected (7,121 swabs were made) and 8 deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic amounted to a total of 17,771, of which: 5,082 in Trieste, 7,035 in Udine, 3,424 in Pordenone and 2,007 in Gorizia, in addition to 223 people from outside the region. The current cases of infection are 9,284. There are 47 patients undergoing intensive care treatment while the number of hospitalized in other departments amounts to 366. The deaths amounted to 506, with the following territorial subdivision: 244 in Trieste, 136 in Udine, 113 in Pordenone and 13 in Gorizia. The totally cured are 7,981, the clinically cured 133 and the isolated persons 8,738.

Data in Abruzzo: +683
There are a total of 17,774 positive cases of Covid 19 registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency. Compared to yesterday there are 683 new cases (ranging in age from 1 month to 98 years). Of the new cases, 486 refer to traces of outbreaks already known, reports the Regional Health Directorate, specifying that the positives under 19 years are 99, of which 29 in the province of L’Aquila, 13 in the province of Pescara, 21 in the province of Chieti, 36 in the province of Teramo. The number of deceased patients registered 15 new cases and amounts to 661 (between 56 and 99 years old, 13 in the province of L’Aquila, 1 in the province of Teramo and 1 in the province of Pescara). Also 5205 discharged / healed (+176 compared to yesterday).
Sardinia, 623 cases and 15 deaths
Sardinia registers a new negative record of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, 15 in a single day: 7 victims were from the north of Sardinia, 2 from the province of Oristano, 4 from the southern province of Sardinia and 2 from the metropolitan city of Cagliari. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit there are also 623 new cases and almost 5,000 more swabs performed (4,925). Currently hospitalized patients are 472 (+48 compared to yesterday’s figure), while 57 (+1) are in intensive care. There are 9,164 people in home isolation, 366 more patients recovered. Of the 14,417 positive cases verified in total, 2,992 (+112) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 2,372 (+95) in southern Sardinia, 1,213 (+76) in Oristano, 1,925 (+167) in Nuoro, 5,915 (+173)) in Sassari.
The data in Val d’Aosta
Three new deaths, bringing the total to 234, and 2363 positive cases, 25 more than yesterday, of which 149 in hospital, 15 in intensive care and 2,199 in home isolation. These are the data on the coronavirus epidemic in Valle D’Aosta, announced today by the Region’s health update bulletin. The total of positive cases are 4,858, 2,260 cured and 4,8853 swabs carried out to date.
