Bad accident today, Sunday, September 20, in Valsorda, at the height of Tibetan bridge. Three people belonging to the same family were injured in an area that has already been the scene of several similar episodes and injuries. For reasons that have yet to be clarified with precision, the family – made up of a father, mother and four-year-old daughter – reportedly fell shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday in the area of the Tibetan bridge over the Valsorda, in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella, in the Veronese area. The Tibetan bridge connects the Marano di Valpolicella road system with that of Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo and allows a spectacular view of the Val Sorda. The bridge is suspended at a height of about 40 meters, is 52 meters long and 70 cm wide. It is a trail for experienced hikers as it is quite challenging.
Alpine Rescue and a helicopter from Trento intervened at the scene, the family in the hospital – Other hikers reportedly raised the alarm after the accident.
