There are 8 new positive cases of coronaviorus in the province of Arezzo: 8 of them are in Valdarno Arezzo. This is a 27-year-old young man from San Giovanni, asymptomatic, already in home isolation when he returned from Romania; of a 21-year-old from Cavriglia, in home isolation as a contact person for another case, who returned from Riccione, asymptomatic; 50-year-old Loro Ciuffenna, asymptomatic, already in home isolation as a case contact, returned from Riccione and 50-year-old from Bucine, in home isolation
The Prevention Department has intensified the follow-up of close contacts, which has highlighted, for the moment, 21 contacts for the Arezzo cases. Currently, in the Local Health Authority of Southeast Tuscany there are 2,648 people in home isolation, either because of a known case contact or because they come from other countries.
There are 9 people hospitalized for infectious diseases at Hospital San Donato in Arezzo.
Case identification and contact tracing was possible by performing 1,646 swabs.
