Coronavirus – ASL updates – 19 linked to proven situations – 15 positive in Viterbo – 4 recovered today

Viterbo – 35 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the Viterbo ASL at 11 am.
Another case of positivity for Covid-19 was reported by a non-ASL health center.
The latest reports of positivity are related to swabs performed on citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 15 in Viterbo, 5 in Vetralla, 3 in Capranica, 2 in Bassano Romano, 2 in Nepi, 2 in Valentano, 1 in Acquapendente, 1 in Tarquinia, 1 in Fabrica di Roma, 1 in Oriolo Romano, 1 in Tuscania, 1 in Monterosi, 1 in Ischia di Castro.
Of the current cases, 19 have an epidemiological link with previously verified and already isolated cases, 10 are connected to swabs performed by symptomatology, 3 are connected to swabs performed after a post-serological examination, 3 are connected to swabs performed after a antigen test, 1 is connected to a swab made for an access to the emergency room. 35 are convalescing at home, 1 is currently hospitalized in the Belcolle Infectious Diseases ward.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 919 of which 49 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
Today, the institutionally competent subjects were notified of the recovery from Covid-19 of 4 patients, having received the report of negativity regarding two swabs performed consecutively within a few days.
People with negative status are residents or domiciled in the following municipalities: 2 in Viterbo, 1 in Vetralla and 1 in Nepi.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 15 are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 333 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 540, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 36,292 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 337 in the last 24 hours. To date, 668 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, 5871 have concluded the isolation period.
