Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 272 new infections have been detected in 2,571 swabs (equivalent to 10.5%), of which 683 come from rapid antigenic tests. On the other hand, there are 18 deaths, to which are added another 9 that occurred in the previous days. Admissions in intensive care units drop to 56 while those of other departments amount to 645 units.
The numbers
A total of 49,140 people have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic. The total deaths amounted to 1,591, with the following territorial subdivision: 440 in Trieste, 719 in Udine, 332 in Pordenone and 100 in Gorizia. The totally recovered are 33,447, the clinically recovered 704, while the people in isolation have decreased to 11,411.
