In Calabria, to date, 260,697 subjects have been tested for a total of 262,979 swabs performed (further tests can be performed on the same subject).
The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 4,204 (+234 compared to yesterday), the negative 256,493.
The confirmed cases today are divided as follows: 44 in Cosenza, 32 in Catanzaro, 10 in Crotone, 0 in Vibo Valentia and 148 in Reggio Calabria.
These are the daily data related to the Covid-19 epidemic reported by the Department of Health Protection.
Compared to yesterday, there are nine more hospitalized patients, reaching 117, the intensive care unit is stable. The ratio between the number of positives and the number of swabs increases to 9%.
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:
– Cosenza: ACTIVE CASES 671 (43 in ward; 2 in intensive care, 626 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 631 (592 recovered, 39 deceased).
– Catanzaro: ACTIVE CASES 253 (26 in ward; 3 in intensive care; 224 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 325 (289 recovered, 36 deceased).
– Crotone: ACTIVE CASES 68 (68 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 161 (155 recovered, 6 deceased).
– Vibo Valentia: 36 ACTIVE CASES (5 hospitalized, 31 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 122 (116 recovered, 6 deceased).
– Reggio Calabria: ACTIVE CASES 1065 (43 in ward; 4 in intensive care; 1018 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 523 (500 recovered, 23 deceased).
– Another Region or Foreign State: ACTIVE CASES 232 (232 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 117 (116 recovered, 1 deceased). Also included is the person who died in the Cosenza intensive care unit who resided outside the region.
Hospitalized patients from outside the region and migrants were included in the columns of their respective wards; of the 26 admissions to the Catanzaro hospital, 5 refer to non-residents. Of the 43 admitted to the Cosenza hospital, three are non-residents; the patient discharged from Cosenza was included among those cured in the environment outside the region; the patient who died in Cosenza was included among those who died in the environment outside the region.
Since the last survey, the people who have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory are in total.
The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to Civil Protection are not included.
