Frecciarossa will have a partner in Rome-Reggio Calabria, Rome-Lecce, Rome-Verona-Bolzano, Venice-Rome, Venice Mestre-Milan, eight trains on the Turin-Milan-Rome-Naples trunk network, in addition to other intercity trains. Italo will only have one partner in Roma-Venezia Santa Lucia. Passenger ferry service to and from Sicily suspended.
